CeBIT and DCD create largest data center event

The world’s largest IT event CeBit has partnered with DatacenterDynamics events arm, DatacenterDynamics Converged (DCD Converged) to create the largest international data center event.

Internationally renowned experts will speak at the The Business of Data Centers conference which will help IT professionals better understand the role of the modern data center as the ultimate business enabler and home to the cloud in all of its forms.

The event will take place in Hanover during the five days of CeBIT March 16 to 20, 2015, and will explore how modern data centers are designed, built and operated.

It will examine how organizations should select data center and cloud infrastructure partners to cater for increasing international growth requirements.

There wil be four strands:
- Design + Strategy

- IT + Networks

Critical Environment  (performance, efficiency and resilience)

Sourcing + Delivery

This is the first joint venture of this kind in CeBIT's 28-year history, and comes in an exciting year for the annual tech jamboree - in 2015, CeBIT will feature China as its partner country. CeBIT joined forces with DCD Converged to provide more targeted learning and network opportunities to professionals in the sector, according to Oliver Frese, a member of the board of Deutsche Messe.

For its part, DatacenterDynamics Converged is keen to step up to the huge scope of CeBIT. “We are honoured to be working with such a legendary event as CeBit,” said DCD co-founder George Rockett. “The scale of both the audience and the venue will allow us to introduce some exciting new conference formats and explore new topics.”
